Here is a small selection of the many works we’ll have available at our fundraiser on April 6th, 2019.
Joe Vaux
Joe Vaux is an American artist. His name may be familiar to many, through his work as a director on the the hugely popular animated TV series ‘Family Guy’. However, Vaux also engages his boundless imagination and creative skills as a prodigious fine artist. The paintings Joe concocts lead viewers into a bizarre, yet strangely familiar world, populated with ghoulish creatures who collectively engender twisted visions sprinkled with generous spoonfuls of humour.

DIMITRY MALANITCHEV
As well as being the color design director for the Simpsons, Dima Malanitchev is a prolific painter. His gorgeous landscapes and photography will be featured at the VCCC sale.

Manny Prieres
Manny Prieres was born in Madrid in 1972. He immigrated with his parents (originally from Guantánamo, Cuba) to Miami. After graduating from Miami International University of Art & Design, he opened (with Leyden Rodriguez Casanova and Jose Reyes) one of the first artists run space called Box that ran from 1997 to 2004.
Prieres has shown work at venues in Auckland, Mexico City, New York, Istanbul, Baltimore, Los Angeles and Miami. He has been featured in publications including Art Papers, Art Nexus, El Nuevo Herald, Installation Magazine and Whitehot Magazine.

Gilda Davidian
Gilda Davidian graduated from the Photo and Media department at CalArts in 2006. She is interested in using photography to explore ideas involving home, familial relationships, and the process of forming identity through the act of portraiture. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

Dustin Metz (b. 1984 Philadelphia, PA, lives and works in Los Angeles, CA).
